Brake Problem - Help

Just having installed front Powerslot rotors, Ferado 2500 padds and Stainless Lines(all around) by Stoptech and Motul 600 fluid I may have a problem? I am concerned I let the fluid in the resevoir become to low? I say this because during the bedding in process(which went well except for this one issue) after doing dozens of prescribed stops letting the brakes cool accordingly, I did a couple stops at or near ABS threshold and actually locked up the front brakes a little! My concern is that maybe the ABS system could of become affected by the low fluid and if so can I remedy this and how????

Thanks, any help would be appreciated

Have you bled the lines a second time? I've heard from others that it can sometimes take several bleadings to get all the air out.

Apexer, I went around the car 3-4 times the day I did the install, I pushed through almost a full pint of Motul plus what is in the system. I intend to bleed them again tomorrow as well. Also, what is this I am hearing about bleeding the clutch??? is that a possibility and if so is its performance affected by any air in the system????

Hey, like the stats on your Mini.... you should get the Throttle body, I really think it made a big difference(it did and does on my wallet anyway).

AkitaDan: I understand you bled 3-4 times initially but, did you do it again after several days of driving? That can make a big difference especially with the ABS. I did bleed the clutch only because it uses the same fluid and didn't want to risk old clutch fluid mixing with new brake fluid. I didn't see any difference in clutch before & after.

Saw this in a post yesterday - The Bentley manual says to use a scan tool to put the brakes in some kind of bleed mode for proper air removal. It's here, somewhere..
