Strange Tyre Lines

I got these Dunlop SP Sport9000 tyres about a month ago. Part used with 6mm tread.

I notice this strange vertical band on each tyre that are slightly higher / proud of the tread. I haven't measured but looks to me slightly off center. Anybody recognise what this is??

I guess they were there when i got them and I just didn't look cose enough. They do seem to be wearing down slowly and I find the tyres a little noisy.

I searched Google for other images of the sp9000 and found some others also showing the line while some don't.

its just imprints from the mold when the tire is made. does not affect the tire performance in any way.

Surely not still an imperfection fom the mould when worn down to 6mm? New tyres have 8mm tread.

Just realised you might be looking at a differnt bit. This is the mark I'm talking about.

At about 3:50 into this video, you see this cutter go in and trim the rubber off the tire. I take it, there is a very small gap between the two blades.
