Ok, ALEX . If I just decided to buy soem good tires that will last like a michelin how does tire rack handle milage wear outs ?

I know there is no way with my driving and a FWD that I can get 50 or 60K from a tire, so say at 30K my michelins are worn to 2/32"

That means I should get half off a new set right ? Do I have to ship them back or do you have a local rep or ?

I see an advantage in buying $150+ tires and saving sales tax that allmost balance out shipping cost but if I have to hassle to get warranty it won't be worth it.

 

You would be eligible for a pro rated reimbursement of 50% of your original purchase price. Tirerack can handle the mileage warranty claims, however the tires do have to be shipped back to us. Getting all 4 tires worn down evenly to 2/32" is very hard to do. Your also free to work with a local Michelin dealer to claim warranty, but this credit and replacement set would be directly handled through that dealer.
