Stud Conversion?

Hey just ordered some r90 wheels and H&R 5mm wheel spacers for the r53 checkmate. I was just wondering what studs would look ok with this setup without sticking out way to far and looking wrong. I was thinking 50mm H&R studs. Thanks

Why do you need studs?

With only 5mm spacers, you should still be able to get full 4 turns of the OEM lug bolts in the wheel hub. If not, just order another set of longer lug bolts (cheaper than studs).

a

P.S.: 2 vehicle with bolts, 1 with studs. Already butchered threads on 2 studs when I got lazy sliding wheels on them. Fixed with SnapOn thread chase kit, but that's another $130 ;-(

I would not want to be running on only 4 turns. For reference the SCCA tech standard is 7 turns, I think that's a bit skimpy.

tech standard is 7 turns
This is also TireRack's standard when we select the bolt length for our wheels.
