I love my factory wheels but they have seen better days. I found a local company that will powder coat them. From my understanding I have a 3 piece wheel, I would like to purchase new, the outer rings and the bolts that go around the wheel. I want to powder coat the wheel black and leave the rings and bolts silver. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that I could get these from? Thanks in advance!

 

What factory MINI Wheel do you have ? R90s ... Post a pic ?

 

I cant seem to insert it inline I am hoping it attached correctly.

 

Web spokes R98 is what there are call. : come in silver and they come in black. Two piece wheel , titanium fastener.

They can be separated with a BBS wheel tool. Think this is the same size. Double check.

ECS Tuning thanks for your reply I have purchased from your company in the past and was happy. The link you sent seems to be for the entire wheel, I don't need the center portion of the wheel can the hub portion/outer ring portion with the titanium fasteners be purchased separately?

They are not serrate parts. Just the whole wheel from MINI. I think the fastener are from BBS ad use that tool, but we don't carry the fasteners.

 

I love the style of the R98 wheels, I wonder if the ECSTuning will put them on sale anytime soon

 

No sale on the R98's as of now. And I dont see one anytime soon, but if they do. You will hear it hear or posted up on vendor announcements.

The R98's are by Ronal Wheels. Check with them to see if they sell replacement fasteners. BBS stopped selling replacements for their wheels, but some are available aftermarket. It's not recommended to reuse the old bolts by the wheel manufacturers.

It might be better to sell your old wheels and purchase new ones... depending on how much you can get for your wheels, new wheels - profit from old might not be too much more than refinishing.

Dont think those 6x10 will clear the front brakes.
