Alloy wheels by BBS?
Hello,
going to plan some new rims.
Do you have any experience of the alloy wheels by BBS?
Are they cost/performance efficient?

Thank you in advance.

BBS is the OEM manufacturer for some MINI wheels, like the R90's Cross spokes and the R98 Web spokes . As well as the R91 I believe and some others.
R90's 17" silver, anthracite, and black w/ polished lips.

You have to be more specific than just "interested BBS wheels".
Far too many to choose from.
From personal experience on bimmers:
1). Had 17x8 BBS RX wheels. Cast, not forged. Eventually bent all of them, one bad enough to throw away.
2). Have 18x9 BBS CH wheels. Forged. Light, strong, and far from cheap. No issues to report.
All multi-spoke wheels, and most BBS wheels have many small spokes, are a PITA to clean and brake dust eventually cakes up in the recesses around the area where spokes connect to the wheel barrel. But if you like the look, that's the price you pay.

Which MINI model and for what wheel size?
What is your budget?
What are you using the wheels for- street only?
What is more important to you?
Appearance
Weight (light is more responsive, stop and accelerate faster)
Ease of cleaning
Strength- OK to use on bad roads.
In general BBS is expensive and looks nice. When they are not too expensive they are heavy. Forged wheels are made stronger and with less weight. Cast alloy wheels are not built as strong so they need more metal to make up for that and weigh more, but they are OK for street use.
3 to 4 lb difference in each wheel weight can make a small difference.
