15x8 and 15x9 wheels currently available?

I'm having trouble finding any 15x8 or 15x9 wheels for the R53. The next batch of 6UL isn't due until March or April, but I can't wait that long. I prefer matching 15x9 front and 15x8 rear, but at this point even 15x8 all around could be ok. Tirerack has no suggestions.

Will these fit? http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...t/61-1368.html

What other options are out there?

Check with Jan at revolutionmotorworks.com I know he uses 15x8 949 wheels...he can supply them or point you in the right direction. And they are inexpensive!!!

AlphaFox, I just mounted a set of the Traklite Burn wheels yesterday in 15x8 with 225 45 Rivals. I'm using 5mm spacers in back but could probably get away without them. The closest contact is a half inch away now. In front I am using 12mm spacers because I have them but don't think they are necessary either. Running stock suspension so no rubbing but I can see gap elimination in my future. I also wanted 6UL's but opted for these so I'd be on lighter/wider wheels when the season begins. The first T&T is in 3 weeks. BTW Good-Win Racing had them at my door in Hawaii in 3 days. Tire Rack had the Rivals here just as quick.

Glad to hear you got your wheels and tires. Are you street driving on the rivals or do you have another set of street wheels/tires for daily driving?

What suspension mods do you think you will get later? What about front camber plates? I recommend fully adjustable front camber plates so you can max it out and match right to left settings.

Which T&T event are you referring to in Hawaii? I thought autocross in Hilo was the only driving event choice.

Aloha MiniHune...I only put 300 miles a month on my car so most likely I will just leave the Rivals on permanently. I currently have the IE fixed camber plates installed on the car with stock springs and struts. I am undecided on springs and struts at the moment. I like coil overs but have had good luck with Eibach springs and Koni yellows in the past. One of the benefits of coil overs is that I can get them with adjustable camber. A new rear sway bar is due to arrive this week. The T&T in Hilo is one that we do with our annual meeting each year. We will hand out awards, announce the incoming board members, have a catered BBQ, and have a couple short tracks operating with helpers using pyrometers and such. It will be held January 26th and you're welcome to attend. Just go to motorsportreg and sign up.

That's great! I've had good experiences with Brian and Good-Win-Racing as a whole. Do you have any pictures of the wheels on your car?

AlphaFox, there is one in my sig pic and a few more in my gallery. You can see there is a little poke and a lot of gap. More gap than I had anticipated considering that there is only 1.5 inches difference in diameter from the 18's that were on there. I the gap looks bigger because the tire pokes where as the 215 35 18's on the R105 wheels were all tucked in.

Search on Tire Rack for Mazda Miata SCCA STR Class

They have C3M's 15X9 + 36 like the 6UL. A bit heavier but much cheaper.
