12mm or 15mm Spacer Question

Hi
I just bought a 2006 Pepper White MCS convertible and would like to get the wheels flush with the fenders.

My MINI has the 17x7 mesh wheels with an offset of 48. I have looked at the threads on spacers and have seen discussions go back and forth on using 12mm or 15mm.

What spacer should I go with to get the wheels flush with the fenders.

Thanks for your input

Ian

BTW- The car is on a stock suspension, non-lowered.

Get a ruler and measure how far you want the current OEM wheel to stick out from your present car. Estimate as best you can what looks flush to you.
