215 35 18 rubbing

I just installed 18 oz superleggeras with toyo 215/35 18
I am running on Eibach spring and adjustable rear control arms. Camber is set back to the stock setting,
The problem i have now is that i am getting rubbing on the driverside rear wheels, the other side seem fine, anyway i can fix this problem? Do i just trip some of the plastic off the side fender?
any help would be great thx,

Keep your tire inflation up to the right levels. About 33 psi cold for 2 passengers and about 37 psi for 4 passengers. More psi if you autocross.
Keep driving the MINI and let the suspension settle a bit more. You might get some rubbing with hard cornering in either direction or with passengers in the rear on streets. Try them out.
Then if you get rubbing that is good because it will be easy to see where to do the inside wheel fender trimming and follow this How to-

I have painted my side fender, and i see yellow paint on the tire,
seem like the black plastic fender is rubbing my tire, have anyone try triming that down? can it be done? or should i just sand or grind it down?

try 225 40 18s on 42OS rims. with H&R springs 40mm drop.
although the stance is to die for, im still getting rubbing two months later.
all fender liners have been trimmed to spec. the rubbing actually occurs on the rear fender arch of the car at approx 10o'clock.
drive hard and ignore the sound. at high speeds the plastic is a lot softer than the rubber. its only a matter of time before the plastic is gone. your ride and handling will not be affected.
you might want to fill up your tank only 3/4 as well, this helps a lot.
and take out your backseats.
