Runflats at wear bars at 14.500. Wow what a difference in the ride, still corners just like thr runflats did. Tire store had a hard time dismounting the runflats but no scratches on the rims.

I swapped over to the same type/size and have been very impressed so far. Whether it be in cornering traction, straight line acceleration traction, or ride quality the RE050a's were terrible compared to these tires. The ride quality improvement on the contis vs the bridgestones is simply unbelievable. I had 16s with snow tires on all winter, and I dare say these contis are more comfortable than they were over some types of road irregularities.

I've had my Conti dws 215/45/17 on 17x7.5 rim for about two weeks now after having blizzaks rf's all winter. I am also extremely pleased with the tires performance and how much nicer the ride quality is. My wife's GTi will be getting a set this summer.
