I hit a pot hole deep enough to get to China on Rt 80 last night. WHAMMM!!!!
I felt the jolt all through my body. After about a minute or so the flat tire monitor light came on which made me a little relieved because I thought I might have messed up the alignment and that was why is was fading left a little bit. I opened the window and could here the tire also.

Anyways I drove home about 15 miles and it wasnt so bad, but I did smell rubber when I got out. My brother tells me that I may have just broke the seal and may be able to pop it back out using his air compressor. You figure the tire just hit real hard, it probably doesn't have a hole or anything. I may have messed up the sidewall driving home but they are run-flats so maybe not. Your thoughts.

You probably damaged the rim. That might have caused it to lose the seal. Take the tire off and look at it if possible. I had an incident like that, and the inside of the rim was bent enough so the seal was iffy...

You don't mention what kind of runflats you have. I'm guessing the performance tires, as they have shorter sidewalls and are more likely to be damaged this way. Either way though, if you "smelled rubber" and the tire seems to be off the rim, I'm guessing your tire is toast. It got you home for the last 15 miles (something a "regular tire" wouldn't have done), but that's it. Go to a competent tire store (not a gas station) to have the damage to the tire and rim assessed. It is also possible (as ACE noted) that you did damage the rim...yes the SLites can be damaged. Good luck, and let us know what happens.

Well take my word for it, this S-Lite was BENT...I am surprised it would hold a seal sometimes...
