Where can I buy steelies

I have some snow tires picked out for the 2007 Mini Cooper S I just bought for my wife. Where can I buy steel wheels that fit? If I have this right, the stock wheels are 16 x 6.5 4x100 with a 48mm offset and a 56.1 center bore.

I guess I could just put the new snows on the stock wheels and then get some nice wheels and new tires in the Spring... Maybe go for 17's....

The tires on the car are Continental ContiProContact SSR 195/55/R16 87V. Not in bad shape at all; more tread on the front than back; someone rotated... Not sure if they are original. The car has just 16k on it.

Seamus, thats exactly what I did, used the original 7 spoke 16s for snows (which I just remounted this Saturday, weather was spectacular and warm) and bought new pre-mounted 17s from Tire Rack last spring, ready to bolt-on. By far easiest and cleanest way to deal w/ winter tire needs. Im not sure if anybody makes steelies for the Cooper, have yet to see any.

+1 on this program also. 16" snows are in the garage, mounting this weekend to replace the factory all-seasons.

17's + summer tires early next year. Swap sets in the garage, going forward.

Don't forget you have TPMS on each wheel, you can reset TPMS as needed for each wheel set used.

If you don't mind having TPMS on the summer wheels only then swap out each OEM TPMS to the summer wheels when you mount the snow tires on the stock wheels.
