Tpms
Tpms
I have a 2010 cooper clubman. Just purchased 2007 rims for summer use, which do not have tpms valves. The flat tire monitor has come on, and will not reset. Two questions:
1) Am I damaging the system if I just live with the light?
2) Is there a way to override this system so that the light goes off?
Thanks for your input.

Not at all, no damage will occur from the low-pressure warning light.
People have tried different home remedies, sometimes with success, but many have failed and reroute back to using the TPMS.
