My Cooper S is lowered with the H-Sport springs and I am worried about the GT7's 42mm offset and 7.5 rim width. I have seen plenty of applications with the SSR Competitions though. My tires are 205/45/17.

Any thoughts?

I have seen 215' 45's rub with GT7 OE ride height, under fully load turn, experineceing a bump @ the apex. I don't forsee 205 being an issue.

with that stock tire size, you'll be good to go - minimal to no rubbing. You can even beef up the tire size to a 215/40-17 and not be in the red.
