I had a local mini guy ask me about stop tech pads and whether or not they would be a competitive product with Hawk street pads. I wasn't aware of the stop tech name branding a pad without it being used with a BBK, at least not for our cars...

Can anyone chime in and shed some light on whether or not these pads are comparable to the perennial favorite? Thanks in advance!

Centric bought StopTech a while back. Most of the pads on StopTechs site are labled Centric, though the Street High Performance brake pads do say StopTech on them. But those could be relabled Centrics. Or they could be StopTech's formulation. I'd simply call Centric or StopTech and ask them.

And from what I hear, StopTech and Centric both have excellent reputations.
