R56 brakes on an r53

Will R56 calipers and rotors "bolt-on" to an R53? Id like to upgrade to larger rotors and slightly better calipers without spending $2K on a big brake kit.

Yes! Although you'll have to delete the dust shields.
Good upgrade, especially with braided hoses.

does the r56 have stock dust shields I can swap over also?
I know I'll need new lines so I'll go woth braided S/S. I have 17" OZ and 17"Montegi wheels so I dont think there will be an clearance issues.

I see some remanufactured calipers for the R56 @ $60-$70 on line (Centric, Cardone), do you think these are any good?

The R56 dust shields will not fit the R53.
