Slicks on stock differential

I bought some slicks and I plan to use them on the drag stip next saturday.

Do I have to worry about breaking the stock differential, I have no LSD at the moment?

Have anyone tried this, and does it have any advantage than running regular tires ?

What are your cars numbers roughly? If you are between stock hp and 200 or so then it shouldn't be a problem for your diff, a stock clutch may have a rough time if you are dropping from 4k repeatedly though

Well, I dont know my numbers yet, wheel hp or brake hp ?

I have 17% pulley, K&N and One-Ball mod.

My best ET is 14.501 @ 96.360mph which gives range from 190-210 flywheelhp

The clutch will suffer more than the diff will.

I would say that without a tune you would be running around 190-195 and if you got a decent tune you could get up to 205-210, those are pretty good times though good job! Just make sure you fully drop the clutch, you don't want to burn more than you have to!
