E-brake not working

Hey everyone,

New member here looking for a bit of help. I just changed the rear brakes on my sisters '05 MC using the step-by-step guide by OctaneGuy. Great tutorial. My problem is that now her e-brake does not work. I've done brakes a few times before and never had this kind of trouble. I tried adjusting the cable using the nut below the brake handle boot but that didn't help.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Thanks,
David

I'd suggest repeated pedal pumps and activation of the lever. While not an expert on the stock calipers, like most hyda-mechanicals units you have to push the worm screw out over and over to take up the slack you created by turning it back in when you fit the new pads. Just my .02 having dealt with it on other cars. Sure someone has more info to share.

Thanks. I'll keep trying that and see if it helps.

Appreciate the help.
