snow tire question

I was given a new set of snow tires size 225/60/r16 and was wondering if they could be used on my MCS in the winter. I use my stock webspokes for the winter and my car is lowered on NM springs. I know they are really wide but will they work in the winter for me?

The tires aren't just wider, they're also two inches taller.

Oh I'm not familiar with tires lol my stock are 195/55 r16. So I'm assuming you're saying that they will not work?

Your lowering springs eliminate some of the gap between the top of the tire and the inner fender. These tires need one inch more space than stock tires. I can't say they won't fit, but I wouldn't put money on it.
