Hard Brake Line.. where to get/part no/etc...
Hi All,
Was changing the brakes on my wife's R56 Cooper S (Daisy), and while replacing discs and pads, I decided with the money I was saving DIY, I would also add stainless brake lines.
Well, last one, almost finished, and sure enough, I twisted, bent, and ruined the hard line that runs to the drive side rear from the front. I see the connection is made under the driver side, so I think it is doable to replace the whole thing, but I need your help please.
Does anyone know the part number for the hard line that runs to the back, driver side brake lines And if so, possibly a source and cost? I will call the dealer in the morning, but thought I would try here first to get an idea.
I'm in Buffalo NY, and didn't see anything from car-part that would indicate a local wrecker with a MINI that's seen better days that I might be able to source the line used.
So Daisy sits on stilts, waiting for me to fix her, slowly dripping away. The line started to twist, and I should have stopped sooner. I reversed, but it then made it a no go totally, and now she sits. Stupid, stupid me.
Hope someone can help steer me in the right direction, or give me some options! Thanks.

+1; Probably a dealer only part
You could find the listing on realOEM.com though.
From your description, I'm thinking that line will run from the ABS unit out to the relevant wheel as one piece (the normal approach). If the metal line is basically sheared (or headed that way), try to cap it off, like with a vacuum line rubber cap. Preferable to not let the fluid drain through to where you get air into the ABS controller. Not sure about Mini's, but some vehicles require the ABS unit to be cycled to really bleed them well once air gets into it.

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. RealOEM.com was the site I was trying to remember, but couldn't, to find the diagrams. (I was trying pelicanparts because RealOEM escaped me.)

Looks like I am looking for Part Number 34306772979. And my plan was to get it from the dealer and/or wrecker, but yes, OEM Mini. Hopefully they have it or can get it ASAP. I searched on line, and the only site listed is Mini of South Atlanta. Hopefully Towne can get it.
I'll let you know how it works out, but thanks for your help!!
