About to purchase... Input welcome!

Finally decided for sure on my new comfort wheel set, as I call it. I've been riding on 215/45/17 and it has been somewhat unbearable with the lowered springs and occassional tire rub.

I wanted a more comfortable and lighter setup, which I've concluded below:
16x7 silver Konig Feather (15.2lb)
205/50/16 continental extreme contact DW (19lb)

With price matching, TPMS swapping and free shipping I'm looking at $975 out the door.

Any input, suggestions, etc are appreciated. Feels like a bigger decision than it probably is but I feel input from the NAM folks will help a great deal either way.

No, really. Input is welcome!

Is there a better wheel or tire for the money? Anything to say?

For anyone who maybe stumbles onto this topic in the future... Got the wheels and tires installed. Love the look, and the tires are absolutely amazing. They look as good as they ride, and the handling is unmatched by any tire I have had experience with. Dead quiet, too. This might be the ultimate tire...

did you shed a few pounds on the corners? I'm looking to dump my OEM wheels, and go with that particular conti tire too.

just curious if you felt anything from the weight "loss". With my potential swapout, I'll probably shed 5 or 6 pounds per corner, maybe.

I'm looking at the Konig ECO 1. Keeping it at 17" though.

Nice setup!

I went from 25lb BBS replicas to my 15.2lb Feathers... And I even shed 3lbs per tire. I can tell a giant difference. The car is actually noticeably faster and noticeably smoother. The tires are the best part. So amazing!
