Recently mini_mackey posted that he purchased some wheels and Bridgestone RE-11 tires in 205/50/16 size from Japan. In all the vendor sites I have visited (Tirerack, ect) in the U.S. they do not show that size as an option. Would anyone know If different vendors in the U.S. may carry that particular size?
I have been contemplating the Dunlop Star Spec's but I am a little concerned about all the reports on tire noise.

I couldn't find RE-11s in 205/50/16 either. They come in 205/50/15 and 205/55/16 though, so maybe the reported 205/50/16 size is incorrect.

Thanks for the reply. That is a possibility. I did send the poster a question on the size and he responded that they were purchased, along with the wheels, in Japan.
Hopefully someone else may know where to locate them.

So it's not likely to be DOT approved or legal to drive on public streets in the US.
