hey whats up you guys. i own volks gtc's but i never felt like driving them around because well.. they are volks!! haha but anyways.. i remember one member on NAM that had volks gtc's. it was a blue cooper with gold volks. i forgot the member's name but like.. my question is

how did you manage to put thos wheels on? did you buy aftermarket studs? or did you buy long lug bolts? reason is that the volks come with special lug nuts and it seems like you have to put long studs. but you MUST take off the calipers and rotor to install the studs. so yeah.. im sad now. i was looking forward to the installation. i even called off work today just to do it!! so sad... so so so sad...

Volks are awesome wheels. I'm planning on getting some gram lights in the future. If you find out how to mount them properly or if anyone else knows please post! I'd also like to know.

My gtcs came with studs and hub-centric rings at no extra cost--for volks mind you (one stud was even the wrong size, but was sent a free replacement). You don't have to remove the rotor/caliper to install studs. Do install with thread lock tho. I'd give a call to your dealer and ask whats up with missing parts. I have no idea what size studs they are.

I ordered mine through Wheel Options, aka Discount Tire located in El Monte, CA---but not the national chain. My experience with this company had me feeling their business was sketchy, but I did recieve everything alright. Ask for "Vic", he's the guy who hooked me up with the wheels/lugs. He should be able to fill you in on the specs of the studs you need and answer any other questions. Their number is 626-579-1182.
