Hey,

I was wondering if anyone would know if a Mini '09 with stock suspension will work out with the 16" mags I just bought that came with tires.

The size is 225/50/16x7.5 and the offset is +43mm.

225/50 is wide and tall, can't promise to fit.

It will fit with no problems. I had that size tire on a 7inch wheel and it was fine. I am putting 225's on a 6'5 wheel soon. The only problem with that offset you might have would be the tires hitting the struts. Stock they are fine, but once you lower it you might have to get spacers.

Ok! The tires fit great without any rubbing at all, even when I run over potholes.
I think I might even try lowering the car by about 1". Will post pics soon.

 

I just installed 225/50/16 on my 33mm lowered cooper and have so much rubbing issues on minor bumps.... I think i need to get coilovers to solve the height problems....


any suggestions?


I love the cushy ride though! barely hear the fwy dividers.....
