If you're running 38mm offset wheels (you Oz Supraleggras run 37, right?) please comment on how its working--any rubbing? do you throw dirt on your doors?
any other issues? are you lowered? Do you feel you need to get a wide body kit?

Its time to replace my stock runflats, and I'm going NONrunflat.
I'd like to replace my wheels, but I've fallen for a 17inch wheel, Stilauto SR500...I was planning on staying with 16"--for comfort, performance, and cost reasons. just alot less choices in 16" wheels...

my biggest concern is the 38cm offset...I don't want to have to change my fenders...(is that what minis have??)... also I was planning Hsport springs, which I've been told will still work ok....whatcha think?

You may want to put what you want people to comment on in the title of the thread, that way people are more apt to see what you actually want them to comment on...

Just a suggestion

(thanks KiLO--didn't know it would get cut off like that )

I was planning on Hsport springs, and 215/45/17 tires if I go with the 17inch wheel....

everything I've read says "stay >42mm offset" but I see lots of folks on this site with wheels that are less....just wonder what issues you're experiencing....
thanks, Jenni

Jenni,

To be safe I would recommend staying in the 42-50 offset range. I have H-Sport's with 215/45-17 and I'm using a 17x7 wheel with an offset of 40. I have rubbing issues at all four corners of the car. I was running 215/40-17 tires on the same wheels and encountered no rubbing. Hope this helps.

Jason
