Found some locally in 205/45R16 for $70 each (tax included) installed, including mounting, zero balance, road hazard, etc. Good deal or nay?

They're awfully soft with a 180 treadwear rating... AA traction, A temp, though.

dang, you can still buy those tires?

they're pretty noisy, but grips well. the adhesion point is questionable,
not as sticky as it looks. kinda reminds me of the parada's but noiser.

I now wear a Beltone caused by these tires in conjunction with top down Miata driving. Sticky inexpensive tires are Falken Azenis. The Azenis can be had for $77 in 205/55 16 from tires.com.
