Wheels or suspension upgrade?

I've been debating whether or not to get a suspension upgrade or some new wheels. I currently have a 2010 MCS with stock suspension and 17 webs. Regular driver and don't track at all(not even sure if Hawaii has a track). I'm mostly interested in aesthetics and my main gripe is the wheel gap.

I'm was thinking about doing a suspension upgrade to get rid of the wheel gap, and there are some cheap alternatives out there like swapping springs, but I don't want to skimp out if I'm going to touch my suspension. Cost would be pretty high just to get rid of the wheel gap. Handling would increase a lot, but I don't really need that.

Getting new wheels is next on my mod list, and this leads to my main question. Is there and if so, what is the best combination of wheel/tire size to fill in the wheel gap. I've done some research here and have a basic idea of how tire sizing works - increasing the tire size would fill in the wheel gap, correct?

I'm leaning more toward upgrading wheels(trying to fill the wheel gap if possible or just live with it), then possibly down the road upgrade suspension. Thoughts?

Disregard this, I found some great info in another thread from two years ago:

aaronvb: I have the same dilemma. I've been reading threads and researching suspension mods for about 3 years now. I thought I would share the slight benefit if you procrastinate........I am actually surprised how much the stock MCS springs have settled. I measured the bottom of black trim above the tire to the ground of a 2010 MCS and compared it to my 2007 MCS. I think the front settled a little less than one inch and the rears a little more than an inch in 3 yrs and about 30K miles. So I keep following the threads....good luck.

Yeah I think I may wait a little on the suspension. I could go the cheap way and get some springs, but I rather go all out and get some nice coilovers. I definitely think new wheels will change the way my car looks, and then I can go from there.
