SO how many sets of wheels do you have

I think i have have a bit of a OCD problem going on, so i figured I would see how bad off I really am. I have owned the Mini for 2 years now, and currently have 5 sets of wheels for it, ( I sold 3 Sets in the past 2 Months and have 5 left )complete with mounted and balanced tires on each. I mean I need a set for racing and the Track, A different set for Autocross, a set for rain on the track, a set for Winter and a set for Summer. I have always kept at least 2 sets for any car i have owned, but this I am told is getting out of hand.

Well, I only have 2 at the moment; 1 set 4 winter & 1 set 4 summer (which will be installed this wkend). I have NEVER done that much b4 w/any other car I've owned. EVER.

I think your situation could be a little overkill, tho; however, you DO use them for different situations, so that may be your saving grace.

I have 4, sort of. 15" holies with Blizzaks for the winter. 16" R-84 with Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S as my 3-season daily set. 17" S-lites with Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 that I may put on for my trip to the Dragon (or wherever it is we are going now that the Dragon is closed.) Finally, another set of 17" S-lites from which I removed the worn-out run-flats - not sure what if anything I'm going to do with them.

Not true. You can't count the Enkeis until you have them in your garage.

I have six sets, but that's between four vehicles.

3 sets for the mini: OE 17's, Winter 16's, and a new set for summer enroute in 17.

4 sets for the e30: BBS RK2 17x8 show wheels, e38 style 4 16x8 beater wheels (currently with bald tires), e36 style 32 15x7 painted black with sticky tires for autox, and Centra 16x7.5 with no tires that rub the tie rods. Not including the 2 or 3 sets of 4x100 wheels that no longer fit (swapped to 5 lug).

Of course it does, hell if the women can have dancing shoes, walking shoes, work shoes, and who knows what else, we should be able to have tires( which are shoes ) for our cars, Motorcycles, Bikes, whatever does not matter. So yes they all count

I have 3 sets for my '07 MCS:

White crown spokes with factory Dunlop run flats
Brake dust grey flame spokes with General UHP's
S winders with Goodyear F1 D3's

Changing wheels gives the car a significantly different look and different balance between handling, ride and braking. Rather than rotate tires, I just change to a new set. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this affliction. Thanks for sharing.

3 Sets

18" set of Breytons
17" set of S-Lites
16" set of OEM steelies.

I am getting rid of the 16" set and the 17" set will become the winters. But, as of right now, I have 3 sets.

8 Sets,

My most recent acquisition were a set of 18" BMW Motorsports 5-Bolts,
which look amazing with my custom 4-to-5 adapters

I just put my 16 inch Rota's back on the car with the runflats that still have better then 90 % left on them, its been almost 2 years since I used the runflats, and now I can honestly say I remember why I took them off, I dont think they will be on for the Dragon, may put the 17s back on as they ride alot nicer
