BMW Rims for MINI

Which BMW rims will fit MINI? It seems like most that I've seen have 5 lugs. Isn't Mini 4x100? When did BMW use 4x100? Which rims / make-model are a known fit?

Anyone have pics? Thanks!

BMW hasnt used 4x100 in ages and when they did alot of the wheels were too small to clear our brakes.

You can fit RS's but they're kinda pricey. You could probably run bottle caps too (Ive seen em on Civics anyways.) I cant think of too many others off the top of my head.

EDIT: Heres a Civic on bottle caps

I always wished these were a 3piece cause they're cool, but they're way too narrow for me.

the bmw e30 uses 4x100. but the offsets are to low, using a 20+ offset, they wont fit right, and i dont know if they will clear the breaks as well. feel free to try and post pics though.

i was thinking about using 16" AC Schnitzer Type-1 wheels (for E30's) on the MINI before but never got around to trying them on. IIRC, the wheels were 16x7 +35

IMO e30 offsets are ideal for MINIs.

Totally depends on the width. The problem with many of the e30 wheels (including the RS's) is that they're skinny with low offsets. Poking skinny wheels is just silly. The RS's are 16x7 et25 for example. et25 would be perfect if it were 9" wide....but at 7" wide you're just gonna have constant rubbing no matter what tire you run. Much like your scenario now.

But you can see why it'd be hard with 7's when there are no options for real stretch.

Dude that bottle cap is hot!!! Please tell me that's real!!

Yeah, e30, e21, and 2002 wheels are the only common bmws that were 4x100. They all run rwd offsets though, so on a mini they will stick out.

I bolted up my 16x7.5 Hartge's to my mini once for kicks. Had 225/45's on them, and they stuck out almost an inch from the fenders. They were et24 iirc.

Indeed real Outer lip machined off and drilled to accept the usual split rim lips in the same manner that RM's do. Super impressive
