R56 wheels on a R53

Do I need special lug bolts or something to fit R56 wheels on a R53?

Just use your R53 bolts and there wont be a problem. There isnt much difference between R53 and R56 suspension/brakes/hubs.

I thought the lugs were 12mm on the R53's and 14mm on the new R56's?

They are but on OEM wheels, the holes are the same size. So it's possible to use R53 wheels on an R56, if they clear the brakes, etc.

Exactly

The wheels dont care if you use 12 or 14mm bolts. And you'd be hard pressed to find a wheel that CAN fit a 12mm bolt but CANT fit a 14mm bolt (or vise versa)
