Question

So, changed front brakes and rotors today, not a real tough job, but did have a problem with the T50 torx screw that holds rotor in place on the passenger side, I had to drill it out. I put everything back together without it, seems to me I had read here somewhere that its not necessary and it seems fine without it. Just want to make sure.

it does nothing but hold things in place until the wheel is on.

as long as it isn't holding the wheel from meeting the hub flat, you are good to go.
