So it sounds like a lot of people are switching to non-run-flat tires. I'm just wondering whether you do anything about a spare tire. If not, do you just plan to call roadside assistance for a tow if you get a flat?

Also, I'm getting the 17" with all-season run-flats. Are these going to be decent winter tires (Baltimore, MD, USA), or will I need to put some snow tires on? If so, can I get decent run-flat snow tires, or will I need to get traditional tires?

Cheers,
Fenian.

PS Anybody put SSR Competition rims on an MCS yet? I have them on the Audi S4 I'm selling and they're absolutely beautiful and extremely light.

im currently on my non run-flat 205/50/16's and carry a fix-a-flat can.
I don't think it will be able to inflate low profile tires like 205/45 or 215/45, so
im going to call on road-side assistance if my summer tires pop beyond
repair.

Otherwise, im going to carry my cigarette lighter air pump.

For long road trips, i'll take my other car.

Heh, I'd love to, but they're 18" and 5-lugs. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work.

Then call me for Comps!

I'm hoping to sell them, but I hope I can find someplace local to do it. Shipping 4 rims/tires sounds like a big pain. As for new ones, I don't think I can afford it any time soon. If I do manage to sell the old ones, the money'll probably go to other mods to the MCS before rims/tires. Sorry. When I can afford expensive new rims, though, I'll almost certainly call you.
