New tires - big difference

Well I just replaced the tires on my new to me MINI (kumho ecsta run flats). It was a no brainer for me to ditch the runflats (never been a fan) and after a long search I ended up going with Goodyear eagle F1s.

The runflats were super loud and severely cupped so I couldn't believe how quiet the car got with the new tires (it never ceases to amaze me how good new tires sound). I went with 215/45/17s for just a little more tread width (not to mention they were cheaper). I have over 600 miles on the tire so far and really like them. I plan on putting them through their paces here in a little while so I will see how they really handle.

happy motoring

First mod of every MINI should be losing the run flats. Your Eagles will get noisy as they wear, but they are a great tire.
