I don't have my mini yet, but I have a question that I would like to have answered, because so far, the place were I bought my aftermarket rims have done everything wrong.

Anybody know the Lug Nut Threads on the mini, on the aftermarket Lug nut it says
M12X1.5RH/T. So I they are 12x1.5, well these thread right up to mini? They also sent me a pair of bolt studs with the lug nuts, and the lugs do thread on these. Does this mean I have to take out the mini cooper studs and put these in???????

Thanks for your help.

MINI's use wheel bolts. Not lug nuts. You can convert to threaded studs if you want to, but unless you change tires a lot there is no point.

Here's the info from Mcgard who makes locking wheel bolts for the MINI. I have a set of the black ones and they fit. As motoring said the MINI uses bolts and not lugs, you'll *probably* be able to reuse the bolts from your factory wheels, most everyone i've talked to has been able to with aftermarket wheels.

Chrome bolts:
MCG-27179
Wheel lock set, Bolt, M12 x 1.5, length 28.2mm, cone seat, black, 17mm hex
$30.69

Black bolts:
MCG-27178
Wheel lock set, Bolt, M12 x 1.5, length 28.2mm, cone seat, black, 17mm hex
$30.69

Be very carful doing this that you get enough thread enguarment, and that your OE bolts are not too long. If you mounting flanges are thicker on your OE wheels vs aftermarket you could present issues. Not advisable.
