Bent Team Dynamics wheel, fixable?

I've got a set of 17x7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 that has one wheel that appears to be bent. The wheel looks fine to the naked eye, but when it was put on the balancer, you could see the edge of the lip on the inner side of the wheel move around. I've now got a vibration at >50mph.

Is something like this fixable?
Is this fixable without destroying the paint? (which I just had powdercoated)
If so, what is a fair price to get it straightened? (One place around me quoted $150 to fix.)

Thanks. Any input would be appreciated.

I'm n ot familiar with that individual wheel, so I'd in principle be wary ofit if you plan to take the wheel out on the track, if you just had the wheel balanced, then I'd take it back to the shop that broke it and they have it properly fixed for you, on their dime.

If only one lip is damaged it can probably be repaired. Cost $120 to $150, likely will cause damage to paint. Some repair places include refinish of the damaged area, this isn't as good as repainting the entire wheel.
Refinish of a wheel approx $120 each

The shop is a competent shop and they didn't bend the wheel, the previous owner probably did. Used wheels, lesson learned.

I don't know if it is the lip so much as the whole wheel might be knocked off center. Like I said, you can't tell it is bent by just looking at it (unless you are spinning it). After some clarification, the $150 quote I got apparently covers straightening the wheel, which takes about 3-4 hours on the machine to fix. I know they've done it before without hurting the finish, but I'm not expecting any guarantees in my case.

At this point I'm not sure if I should just buy another wheel ($190) and powdercoat it to match the color I redid on the rest of the set. ($80). At least that way I end up with a full size spare that I can get fixed at a later date.

If you consider the costs your seeing for wheel repair, buy the new wheel and get it powder coated to match your other three.

You will be overall happier and on track or the twisties you will not have any doubts about a repaired wheel.

Use the old wheel as a backup/spare. It might make a nice coffee table base.
