Who uses speedbleeders?

Who uses speed bleeders (www.speedbleeder.com) and how well do they work. How well do they hold up. Is it worth it to pay $15 a bleeder for stainless steel over the standards for $7 each?

Thanks,
k

I haven't bought any Speedbleeders for a while, and I don't remember being given the choice between stainless steel and mild steel, so I don't know which I have, but given the choice, I'd go with stainless for the extra $8. For parts exposed to the weather, heat, and grunge that invariably builds up on braking/suspension components, I'll take all the corrosion resistance I can get.

They work exactly as advertised, and if you don't want to invest in a vacuum pump or continually call your S.O. out to the garage to pump the pedals for you, they're hard to beat.

I put them on my Europa. They work just fine. Definitely an easy 1-man bleed job with them. I had planned on putting them on the MINI but never got around to it.

I do. Love them. I have the stainless ones and makes exchanging fluid simple.

I love them as well. Great if you work alone alot.

I always have a stock of them in all kinds of sizes on my shelf in case I need to do a job and there won't be anyone around to help.

It sounds as if you don't leave them in. They do seal well don't they?

Yeah, they seal fine. When you screw them down it should seal just like a regular bleed valve. The ball valve only works when it's not tight.
