Tire Pressure Monitor

So...Today it is -5 and after driving my car to work my low tire light came on. Not sure what is going on. Also, my brake pads are sqeeking really bad. I drive a 08 so you would think these problems are weather related and nothing else. Anyone else having these problems??

Not a problem. Low temperature = low pressure in tires. Pump them up to spec, check again when temperature changes.

When I had a 350Z with individual display of tire pressures I got stuck in the mountains overnight and saw tire pressure go from 32psi down to 19psi in about 6 hours and then back to 32psi when sun came out and the snow melted. Filling tires with nitrogen might help a bit with the pressure fluctuation, but not much.

Tire pressure is reduced due to cold. My brakes were sqeeking this morning as well, zero here in Detroit. They stopped after I drove a few miles and warmed up under repeated braking. Hopefully just the effects of extreme cold. Mine is a 2009 with only 200 miles.
