1986 BMW 5 Series

Does anyone know if BMW 5 Series wheels will fit a 2006 Cooper?

They will not. BMW's are 5 lug and minis are 4 lug.

except for the BMW's that are 4 lug, like the non-M3 E30/3Series.

right, which is where my last wheels came from. The non-m3 e30s from were 4x100, but most of them were on 14's anyways so it doesn't really matter.

The OP's 1986 5 series was 5 lug as is true of 98% of BMW's so I just slightly overgeneralized to avoid unnecessary confusion

With 5 lug conversion maybe?
Adapters are "possible" but would have to be custom made because 5x120 overlaps 4x100. It won't be as easy as the 5x130 adapters.

You could custom make hubs, but again it would be a pretty involved process.

Not to mention the offset will probably be wrong too, since one is front drive and the other is rear, and they use different geometry.......besides, would a 14" or 15" wheel fit over the brakes?
