1st real black ice incident, need replacement R84

Well it happened. The NJ cold got the best of me and I hit a patch of black ice HARD last nite. Slid into the curb and nearly cracked my rim in half.. The car vibrates now on the road and makes a gyration noise when the wheel is being turned to the left. I had this problem before, turned out being loose bearings... hopefully that's all it is this time. Still under warranty for that labor...

Anyway, just wondering where the cheapest place may be to get a R84 in silver. outmotoring has them listed for ~175 and I am willing to take a used one in good condition, I know it'll be harder to find one used one though... Thanks in advance!

Did you get the OE version or a replica? I had posted a question about Finishline here a week or so ago and we were doubtful about what they may be offering. Please let us know if you are satisfied with what you get from them.

You also need to get the car in to check for more than just wheel damage.

+1. if the curb was hit hard enough to crack a runflat rim, there may be other damage as well - strut, control arm, etc.

Yea I am going to do so

About finishline wheels

wheel is original.. and if it's fake, it's a damn good one. Condition is 99%.. only noticed small paint imperfection(s) that were only visible cus I was looking at the wheel under a powerful handheld LED torch. I recommend the company...
