Need Urgent Help Please!

Have to replace my tires tomorrow and need to know if 215/40-17 will work on my 2004 MCS with S-Heavies (S-lites) riding on H-Sport springs. Will these rub or should I go with the narrower 205/40-17?

Thanks for any input I can get!

Jason

Shouldn't be a problem at all, I run 215/45/17's on TSW springs with a 5mm spacer and no rubbing.

No problem at all. I've gone through one set of P-Zero's and now have the new Goodyear Eagle GT Ultra High Performance All-Season tires which I like better than that Pirelli's.

Anyway, there are no fitment problems whatsoever.

215/40-17 is my preferred 17" size on the MINI, regardless of ride height or wheel offset [within reason of course]. Unless the tire you choose is extra wide for its size, it'll fit fine on your S-lites with lowering springs with no rubbing.

Enjoy.

I just had Continental 215/45/17 put on my 06MCS with no problem. I wanted a little better ride and this size was suggested by Alex at The Tire Rack. I had BFGoodrich gForce 205/45/17, which were great until they started to wear and the noise was really bad. These were all non- RFs.

I'm looking at BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S in 215/45-17 at Costco, should they fit without rubbing on an H-SPort Sprung 2004 MCS. I can get these installed today. The other local stores are a 1.5-2 week out.
