Does anyone know if the "wheel installation kit" that Discount Tire Direct offers will fit '08 R56s? More specifically, are they 14mm x 1.25? These are the spline lug bolts that they recommend when you buy their wheels.

My personal opinion would be to stay away from the spline style lug bolt for use on a MINI. Im, sure some may disagree, but from past experience I didn't care form them.
On the set I had, the socket that you use to remove the lug bolt would barely fit into the lug hole on the wheels, which caused chipping of the wheel paint.
Discount Tire can get the MINI style lug bolt that takes a hex head removal tool. They are available in Black and Chrome.
And yes, they are available to fit the 08 R56.

Do you mean the type that uses hex key instead of socket wrench?
