I finally tracked down my next set of tires (BFGoodrich G-Force KDW NTs), and will be buying them at Costco soon. HOWEVER, they require that I bring my car in along with a spare tire for the car, since I am not getting run-flats and they will be "defeating a safety mechanism" by replacing with non-RFs.

Does anyone have a tire/wheel combo that I could borrow for a day, just to bring up to Costco in Maple Grove as "proof" that I have a spare tire? It needs to fit an '05 Cooper S, but I think any BMW-made Cooper tire/wheel would work. (I highly doubt they'll attempt to put it on the car.)

I wouldn't bother asking or going through this hassle, but Costco's price is about $100 less than the next best price I could find, and that makes it worth a bit of a hassle.
