Newbie seeking brake dust removal advice
P21S is what I use to remove brake dust. It just takes time and elbow grease. But a brush with a bucket of water does make it easier.
Make sure the the brakes are reasonably cool before washing the wheels.

I've had my 05' Cooper S for 2 weeks now and I'm getting ready to clean the brake dust off my wheels for the 3rd time. I know I can replace the brake pads to reduce the amount of dust produced, but do you have any advice for removing the dust? Is there a spray-on/hose-off product that will work? Or better yet - spray on and no hose needed? This 20 minutes of scrubbing-each-nook-and-cranny thing is getting old very quickly.

Lori

What are you people doing? I use soap, H2O and a sponge. What's up with all of the harsh cleaners? Wheel waxing? Are you serious?!!!? You need something better to do. You spend so much time detailing, do you ever drive and enjoy the car? That's what model cars are for, to look at! Get out and motor people!
