Anyone know the type of finish used on the ASA JS1 wheels? It's really good at keeping brake dust from sticking to them.

However, I had my wheels rebalanced. When they did, they left behind sticky tape used to hold on the original wheel weights. I was told to use Goof off to remove the tape. When I did, it ate into the finish where I sprayed it on. Now brake dust really sticks there well. So, back to my original question...what finish is used on the wheels to make them so teflon-like?

So that's what that is. It really makes the wheels feel like plastic. Thanks for the 411
