I have always liked the look of the Volk's ce28n wheels but they are way too pricey. Then I found these G-Racing's Seki wheels. They look exactly the same as the ce28n wheels but much much cheaper ($120 vs $400 per wheel!). Wonder if anyone has any experience with the G-Racing's wheels?

I believe R-Speed (an MCO sponsor) sells them, Darxar (an MCO member) has them, and you can see pictures of them on Darxar's MINI in the:

"Show me your wheels" thread

Cheers,

James

Thank you for the heads-up, James. I did compare the picture of Darxar's mini (w/ the Seki wheels) with SMG's (with the ce28n wheels). The spokes on the Seki wheels curves out more than the ce28n wheels..... IMO, the ce28n wheels just look classier. Hmmm.... maybe they are really worth the high price tag.

well you're also getting a lighter wheel, that's forged and that's stronger (IMHO)

i have volks and yes they are expensive, but they're quality wheels and you have to pay for quality.

the 16inch CE28 is under 11lbs, the 17inch one is around 13lbs, they're great wheels.

I would agree. The price is the price because the quality and finish are better. Pay less and you should expect less.
The design is copied so the general look is similar but I think if you looked carefully you would see the difference.
Also the weights of the two might be different. Expect less weight with the more costly wheel. Just a heads up. Otherwise why would one be so much cheaper? Well it might cost less to make and have less rigorous standards of quality control. I like the Volks.
