Help me choose between 2 tires

I am finally ditching runflats and rims on my 05. It’s a daily driver, I live in Maryland so need allseason tires, no interstate driving, no track usage, but like to rip it when I can.

I am sold on the Kosei K1 TS rims from tirerack and what to purchase a rim/tire package. I need help/recommendations on choosing between Goodyear Eagle F1 vs Conti UPHAS Extreme Contact

I am also going to change the tire size to 215/45-17. I am leaning toward the Conti's, i like the look, i like the price for an all season tire.

I cannot comment on the Contis but I just replaced my Dunlop RFs (16") on my 06 MCS with the GY Eagle F1s. I was worried about loosing that gokart turn in feeling.

I am extremely pleased with the F1 A/S. Quieter, a tiny bit softer ride, steering response just like the RFs, hopefully a longer tread life...very pleased. All my worries are no more.

For 215/45-17 unless noted-

In UHP All Season tires (many W speed rated)
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ireSearch=true
Lots of options take your pick.
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS $155 each 400 treadwear
Yokohama Advan S.4. $172 each 400 treadwear
Goodyear Eagle F1 AS $123 each 420 treadwear
Continental ContiExtremeContact $93 each 400 treadwear
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...ay.jsp?ttid=72
BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S $113 each 400 treadwear
(for handling the Goodyear F1 AS is better than the ContiExtremeContact, but the F1 AS has a stiffer sidewall due to: Kevlar, Y speed rating and XL load rating so a little less comfort).

In High Perf All Season tires
Yokohama Avid H4S $102 each 500 treadwear H speed rated
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...ay.jsp?ttid=73
Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid (new) $112 each 460 treadwear H speed rated
Fuzion HRi $75 each 400 treadwear H Speed rated (value tire)

For more comfort and longer tire wear (less sharp handling)-
In Grand Touring All season
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ireSearch=true
Goodyear EagleResponEdge $113 each 440 treadwear
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....le+ResponsEdge
Kumho Solus KH16 $90 each 400 treadwear
General Altimax HP $81 each 440 treadwear

For those that don't want to give up on runflats-
In 205/45-17
Continental ContiProContact $188 each 400 treadwear 21 lbs each
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ProContact+SSR
Quite a good runflat tire option.

The the Goodyears have been great so far. Have had them for 5000ish miles. Seem to be wearing very well. The only thing I have noticed is that they seem to get slippery when the temperature drops below ... say 40 degrees. Other than that, they are quiet, great in the rain, let go predictably and absorb the road much better than the RF's. Haven't tried the other tires, so can't comment on that. Hope this helps.
