I noticed Tire Rack doesn't carry Toyo (looking for T1's). Alex... how come?

I am willing to bet it has to do with corporate contracts. Like Taco Bell and Pepsi. Or McDonalds and Coke.

Well thanks for the ideas Ron, but I could not find the Toyo brand on either of those sites. Plus tires.com, which ends up at discounttiredirect.com charges $10 more per tire than Tire Rack for Yoko AVS ES100's so even if they did carry Toyo I imagine they'd be more expensive anyways.

for Toyo tires you might try:
http://www.edgeracing.com/

Or a local dealer. Not all companies will carry all brands. They have to pick and choose which ones to keep in stock based on prices and demand.

Its a combination of market saturation, along with exclusive distrobution.

If the line offered something my current lines did not - then we'd look into them.

We have firm pricing, and my compeditors attempt to undercut me as often as possible. On that note, why duplicate my nitche tires, and offer more undercut oppertunities.

From what I hear, Toyo's are the lightest tire out there. As far as I know, your current lines don't offer a super-light high performance tire.

I've went ahead and bought SO3's with the last two sets of wheels I picked up from the tire rack for the convenience of it, even though I would have preferred Toyos. I think I'm going to suck it up with my next wheel & tire purchase and buy them separately so I can get Toyos.
