Stock 16" tire size?

Just bought a mini at the beginning of this year and it has 175/65/15 but I would like to put 16" wheels and was wondering what a stock 16" tire size is.

Thanks!!

205/50-16 is a very popular size for Minis and there are a lot of tires available in that size. Some people also run 205/55-16. I have a set of 16 x 7 after market wheels with 205/50-16 summer tires but it hasn't been warm enough to run them yet. Hopefully soon. Welcome to NAM. Love to see pics of the Mini.

Stock 15" wheels are 15x5.5" +45mm offset
Common tire size that is wider is 185/65-15, 195/60-15, or 205/55-15.

Stock 16" wheels are 16x6.5" +48mm offset
195/55-16 is the stock runflat size
205/50-16 is good, 205/55-16 is a little tall but will fit with stock suspension.

Aftermarket wheels can be 16x7 +42 offset and work well.

I'm on my second set of 205/50-16s, and they seem to be a good middle of the road combination of price/weight/looks/performance. You can get better in any category by heading different directions and this is a suitable compromise, at least for me...
