can anybody answer?iwant to put 17 x 8 wheels on my car,possibly team dynamics 1.2 because they look great,cheapand many offsets to choose from,i have 17 x 7 r90 right now and because of my front camber(3.0)i have a lot of space between the tire and the wheel arch,can anybody recommend a offset?

 

I have 17 x 8's on my 06 JCW with 215/45/17 stock suspension & 42 offset no problems. I cant answer for your setup though Good Luck.

 

Hmm -3.0 camber up front? What is your setting in the rear?

I'd run ET30-35 front and ET25-30 rear if you have something like -1.5 camber back there.

I'm sure Rally will chime in, probably posting a lower offset than I just did haha.

 

nah, looks like you got the numbers right

-3.0 is a lot of camber. I run -2.5 and it's pretty noticeable and certainly helps with fitting lower offset. Wake was right on with the offsets for the most part. You'd be safe running low 30 offsets up front as long as you keep the camber. I would probably stick with 30-35 in the rear though...especially if you've got less camber back there.

What size tires do you plan on running? That will play a part in what offset you choose.
