diamond racing wheels

has anyone ordered or have any experience with this company? iv read alot about them on vw forums.

i was thinking of calling to see what kind of a deal i could work out but im missing some info they ask you to have per their website- www.diamondracingwheels.com

not sure on our stud/lug thing length, threading type, size and pitch of the lug.

also would have to figure out backspacing which i dont have any idea about... i would think a 15x7 with a 35mm offset would be pretty nice.

so anyone know how to calculate backspacing from an offset?

their inexpensive, not too heavy, come in a unlimited number of sizes and offsets. plus their allready powder coated black

plus i think it would look niffty...

In looking at them again I'm not seeing that they do anything that would clear the FWD offsets and clear the brakes. They do custom I guess, but there go the savings.
Really, these things are pretty heavy if your doing Auto-X. The car will be somewhat slow.

Also "(Wheels are lug-centric and cannot be spin balanced from the center pilot hole. (Center pilot hole is stamped and not machined to be concentric with lug holes.) "

from what i had read on the VW forums, the weights on the companys site are higher than what people have posted their wheels weighed in after receiving them.

know of anyone else that makes anything similar to these?
